New Orleans Based NOVACES Makes Inc. Magazine’s Exclusive List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

The Inc. 500/5000 list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America’s independent entrepreneurs. NOVACES joins other companies like Microsoft, Zappos, and Intuit who have gained early exposure on this list.

New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) October 13, 2011 -- Inc. magazine ranked NOVACES #326 in the Business Products and Services category on the 2011 INC 500/5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America’s independent entrepreneurs. Online retailer ideeli took the top spot this year, while NOVACES joins 17 other companies from the New Orleans metro area. NOVACES is among other nationally recognized companies who have gained early exposure on this list including Microsoft, Zappos, and Intuit.

In addition to the nationwide recession, Hurricane Katrina and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have greatly affected this region of the U.S. over the past decade, but the 18 New Orleans based companies, including NOVACES, on the INC 500/5000 list have had a three-year median growth rate of 86 percent. Combined they have earned revenues of over $589 million and employ 1,614 people.

NOVACES is a management consulting firm that focuses on developing strategies that enable organizations to achieve breakthrough performance through better processes. The company serves multiple industries including healthcare, defense, manufacturing, energy and shipping.

Formed in 2004, NOVACES currently employs approximately 35 people and has offices in New Orleans and Red Bank, NJ. Early in the company’s development, NOVACES helped Northrop Grumman Ship Systems to become the first U.S. shipyards to implement a process improvement method called Lean Six Sigma and survived the business downturn in the Gulf Coast region caused by Hurricane Katrina by diversifying their portfolio to include public sector services. NOVACES has grown 47% in the past three years despite the challenges presented by the current economy.

Co-founder and CEO, Bahadir Inozu, attributes much of the success of NOVACES to its employees. “The company’s emergence as a leader in the advancement of performance improvement strategies has made our steady growth possible,” says Inozu. “Our collaborative work with clients creates an environment where teams push each other to new levels of excellence.”
