NOVACES Awarded EDA Task Order to Support Economic Recovery in Hawaii, following Maui Wildfires (DR-4724-HI)
NOVACES has been awarded a task order under its Blanket Purchase Agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration. The award engages NOVACES to deliver critical economic recovery services in response to the devastation caused by the August wildfires in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii (DR-4724-HI).
Under this task order, NOVACES will apply its proven expertise in disaster recovery and economic development to support the revitalization of the Lahaina community, the surrounding region, and the State of Hawaii. The firm's work will focus on identifying recovery challenges, developing resilient economic recovery strategies, and delivering technical support to FEMA’s Joint Field Office operations in Lahaina.
NOVACES will provide subject matter expertise, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, and document technical assistance and recovery actions that empower state and local leaders. The firm's systematic approach aims to accelerate recovery while laying the groundwork for greater preparedness and resilience in the event of future disasters.
